Oranje-Nassau Energie B.V. (ONE) announced today the discovery of oil and gas in the Triassic reservoir, explored via well P11-11, drilled in license P11a located 55 km NW off the Rotterdam Harbour entrance in the Dutch North Sea.
ONE operates the discovery (30%) in partnership with EBN (40%) and TAQA (30%).
The Triassic reservoir target is relatively shallow at a depth of some 2300 m. The well encountered both gas and oil with an approximate HC-column of 106m. The well flowed at a maximum rate of 900.000 sm3/d gas and 100 m3/d condensate on 52/64″ choke, with only 4 bar drawdown. Detailed evaluation of the discovery will now be undertaken to determine the volume of the discovered oil and gas.
ONE may consider producing the structure with a new unmanned facility, hooking it up to existing infrastructure in the area.
