“Everyone puts their work first, not themselves.”

“As HR manager I deal with a wide range of areas such as recruitment, sickness, absence, advice, all kinds of administrative and payroll matters… you name it! In short, my job is to help people work the best they can.

Here at ONE-Dyas I like working at the intersection of two worlds: production and office. I enjoy the variety of tasks and the fast pace at which things get done. We work on big projects, but we also stay very down-to-earth and the atmosphere is quite informal. People are naturally inclined to help each other, and you get this really strong feeling that we’re all on the same team – kind of like a family business.

At the same time, we’re all ambitious in our own fields. We all want to help make a real difference. But what’s nice is the fact that everyone always puts their work first, not themselves. While everyone is really good at their jobs, they don’t make a big deal of it. I like that.

From my own point of view, working at the heart of the energy transition is opening up lots of interesting opportunities. As just one example, we have been recruiting for roles in Carbon Capture Storage (CCS), a whole new field of expertise that is starting to emerge. So yes, I think it’s a really exciting time to be here.”
